Who am I?

Well, that's a great question! I'm a Charleston child therapist specializing in supporting children and adolescents ages 6-24 as they navigate life’s challenges and uncover their strengths. At Dove Meadow Therapy, I believe every person deserves a safe, compassionate space to explore their emotions, build new skills, and feel understood. My goal is to create a collaborative environment where children, teens, and their parents feel supported and empowered.


I enjoy working with young clients who benefit from autism services, including those with ADHD, low-needs autism, OCD, and behavioral challenges related to neurodivergence. I have a special passion for helping preteens and teens through defiance, emotional regulation difficulties, and other behavioral concerns, which enables them to thrive at home, school, and in their relationships. It is my deepest passion for children and young adults to find freedom in facing life’s scary challenges and fostering wonderful relationships with their caregivers. I cannot wait to connect with you and help you create a peaceful way of living!

I use a playful, developmentally appropriate approach that helps clients feel comfortable and understood.  I draw from evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and compassionate ABA principles. For those seeking mental health support, especially individuals with OCD, I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

I have extensive experience providing mental health support to neurodivergent clients and love serving this population, including working with neurodivergent families.

I provide individual therapy for children and adolescents ages 6-24, family therapy, and parenting therapy. I offer consultation calls with school support staff, doctors, and teams involved in occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy. My goal is to advocate on your child’s behalf and to deliver the most holistic mental health support.

How do I know If we need therapy?

Symptoms to look out for include:

- Excessive worrying

- Self-esteem concerns 

- Emotional outbursts 

- Intrusive thinking, 

- Avoiding school or new experiences

- Difficulty in transitions

- Navigating an ADHD/ASD diagnosis

- New or worsening sleep issues

Individual Psychotherapy

$139- Individual sessions  last up to 50 minutes

Initial Intake Assessment

$169- Initial intake takes between 15-50 minutes 

Parenting Psychotherapy

$145- Parenting sessions last between 25-45 minutes

Family Psychotherapy

$149 - Family sessions with our Charleston child therapist typically last between 45 to 55 minutes

How do I schedule an appointment?

- You can schedule on the portal through the get started button! If you would rather send an email you can go down to the "contact me" page and fill out the form!  



Do you take Insurance?

- Dove Meadow is an Out of Network Provider which means we do not take insurance. HOWEVER, most insurance plans offer reimbursement for psychotherapy services and we are able to provide Superbills to submit to insurance for reimbursement purposes!!



I'm lost I need directions!

- If you are coming from 526, we are the first road to the left with the boats in front!! Drive all the way until you see a parking lot. We are the door just to the right of the State Farm awning and our sign is on the door! Come up the stairs and we are the door to the right!



How do I cancel an appointment?

- You can either cancel on the Sessions Health portal, or you can email me at info@dovemeadowtherapyco.com. Please NOTE: any cancellations within a 24hr period may be subject to the cancellation fee of $100.
